The Case for Christ
Based on the Best-Selling Book by the Same Name -
A Seasoned Journalist Chases Down the Biggest Story in History!
Lee Strobel's Best-Selling Book - Now on DVD!

Lee Strobel's blockbuster bestseller comes alive on your screen in this documentary that chronicles the reporter's journey from atheism to faith. The former legal editor of the Chicago Tribune draws upon his investigative skills to examine the historical viability and accuracy of the Gospels, along with the personal claims and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Project: Determine if there's credible evidence that Jesus of Nazareth really is the Son of God.

The Reporter: Lee Strobel, educated at Yale Law School, award-winning former legal editor of the Chicago Tribune-with a background of atheism.

The Experts: A dozen scholars, with doctorates from Cambridge, Princeton, Brandeis, and other top-flight institutions, who are recognized authorities on Jesus.

The Story: Retracing his own spiritual journey, Strobel cross-examines the experts with tough, point-blank questions: How reliable is the New Testament? Does evidence exist for Jesus outside the Bible? Is there any reason to believe the resurrection was an actual historical event?

This remarkable documentary is like reading a captivating, fast-paced novel. But it's not fiction. It's a riveting quest for the truth about history's most compelling figure. What will your verdict be in The Case for Christ?

Lee Strobel, with a journalism degree from the University of Missouri and a Master of Studies in Law degree from Yale Law School, was the award-winning legal editor of the Chicago Tribune and a spiritual skeptic until 1981. His books include four Gold Medallion winners and the 2005 Christian Book of the Year (coauthored with Garry Poole). He and his wife live in California.

Customer Reviews:

"A Christian learns even more reasons to believe! I'll try not to be long-winded with this review. In short, it was fantastic! My only complaint? That it wasn't 4 hours long! Seriously! It was so interesting I didn't want it to end. I'm a lifelong Christian, and since I've become a mother, I've spent even more time studying scripture and considering spiritual matters so that I can best guide my son to serve God. This DVD taught me things I didn't know! I love learning new, historically relevant facts about the Bible and the world as it was in Biblical times. Hearing all of the collaborating evidence as it related to the life, teachings, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ strengthened my own faith even further! Thank you, Lee Strobel, for telling your story! You've done a great job on this."

"The Case for Christ is worth your time. The Case for Christ is professional, intriguing, and persuasive. If you, like me, believe that we have to be knowledgeable about the objective evidence for the resurrection of Jesus, this will be extraordinarily useful to you and to those with whom you share it."
(J. Q. - MN)

"This DVD is technically better than most Christian multimedia products trying to prove that Christ is the Son of God. It does not suffer from the quality of most subculture Christian DVDs."
(K. H. - CA)

"Great DVD!! After viewing part of this movie I realized that I had purchased the book months ago and had not gotten around to reading it. Having the book along with watching the DVD was very helpful. Buying the book is a MUST if you enjoyed the DVD."

    Just the Facts

This DVD gives hard facts that are well researched that lead to the obvious conclusion there is a case for Christ. The case is set out step by step and gives a foundation on which faith can rest. An excellent and interesting approach that few examine but many need to know.
