Full throttle in reverse! This isn't your typical tour of ruins and dusty artifacts... it's history as exciting today as it was 200 years ago!
Ride along with host Dave Stotts in another installment of the award-winning Drive Thru History video series, as he takes a fast-paced drive through American history.
Based on the work of Christian historian David Barton, Drive Thru History: Discovering America's Founders takes you to Washington, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Virginia to learn about the life and times of the Adams family: John, Abigail, and John Quincy; the Benjamins: Franklin, Rush, and Banneker; and other Revolutionary heroes, including George Washington, Haym Salomon, and Noah Webster.
Shot on location in England and the United States, this feature-length documentary by T. N. Mohan, producer and director of the award-winning documentary Hanged on a Twisted Cross, brings detailed and well-researched perspective to Charles Wesley's history through many never-before seen archival letters, manuscripts and other documents, besides interviews with leading experts from the UK and US.
Come along for the ride to discover how faith and commitment to God and country contributed to the founding of our nation!
"Our family enjoyed watching this DVD set very much. David Stotts is awesome at putting in "spontaneous" humor, yet preserving a serious attitude for the meaningful moments. This is a great way to get kids interested in history. Also, the focus is on the truth about the religious beliefs of our founding fathers. This is a very enjoyable DVD set, and an enjoyable series overall. Fun and educational!"

"Drive thru history totally rocks. I love the fact that it's history but it talks about what was going on in Christianity at the time being covered on each dvd. For the American series it's cool how we see our nation was Christian to begin with. Especially how the founding fathers were men of prayer who were in the Bible and sought the Lord often when drafting the documents that formed our nation."

"Highly recommended! We watched this series with my 8 year old and my 10 year old. They thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a lot in the process; so did I!"
